
Earlier today, we reported that rapper Wale, was sued for skipping the One Africa Music Fest in NY, where he was billed to perform, in July, 2016.
According to TMZ, legal documents containing signed contract between Upfront and Personal Globaland Wale’s management, have been obtained.
Wale, was said to have refused to refund the money and is now been asked not only to refund the said money but also pay an undisclosed amount of interest as well.
Taking to Instagram, the Maybach Music Group (MMG) rapper, refuted claims of not showing up, writing that he did show up but was not allowed to perform by the promoters.
He he wrote on The Shade Room’s Instagram page:
“That’s not true,”
“I ain’t even spoke to nobody. They told me I couldn’t go on stage cuz I was ‘too late’ cuz my DJ wasn’t there… This my first time hearin it,” he added.
