SPORT: Stats show Chelsea’s Diego Costa is more efficient and selfless than City’s Sergio Aguero

Man City v Chelsea!!! Manchester City host Chelsea at high noon today, in what looks like being a key head-to-head battle in the Premier League title race.

City, Chelsea and Liverpool are gradually emerging as a three-horse race, and today’s result could go some way to deciding the destination of the title.

And as well as being arguably the two best teams in the league on current form, they also boast the two best strikers in Diego Costa and Sergio Aguero.

Neither striker enjoyed the best time of it last term, but they’ve both returned to top form this season.

One is little and one is large; they are physically very different players, but they both have in common a ruthless striker’s instinct, and are both in red-hot form this season.

Both have 10 goals so far this season, but as the graphic below show, it’s the Chelsea man who has the more impressive numbers.

Not only does Costa need less shots to score from, but he’s also found time to set up his teammates for four goals, while Kun is yet to register a single assist.

So that settles the debate, right?
