It was a cracking month of football in the Premier League during September 2016.
Surprisingly, Carling have only put up eight strikes for the Goal of the Month, when there could have been the usual 10.
We kick off with the in-form Adam Lallana, who has been superb for Liverpool – a cracking strike versus Leicester in front of the new Main Stand at Anfield.
Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson is the favourite
Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson’s impudent flick against Everton is next, followed by Steven Defour and Heung-Min Son of Tottenham, who is officially on fire.
Watford captain Troy Deeney comes before the likely winner of this month’s competition: Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson with his magnificent strike against Chelsea.
The list is closed out by two more stunning strikes: Granit Xhaka of Arsenal followed by Demarai Gray of Leicester City.
