Sport News: Jose Mourinho reminds Leonardo of a faded ’70s pop star

The former friends aren’t going to have a slumber party anytime soon.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho must be feeling like a piñata right now – everybody is having a swing at him. Defeat to Fenerbahce in the Europa League left him with a worse record than David Moyes and Louis van Gaal. There was a queue of people lining up to kick Mourinho while he was down.

That included ex-PSG sporting director Leonardo.

The Mirror claims that Leonardo is a former friend of Mourinho’s, a man who once hailed him as a ‘true world-beater’. Now his assessment is not so complimentary. He thinks Mourinho is a spent force and the main problem at United.
