The northern governors’ forum (NGF) has blamed foreign herdsmen for the killings in Southern Kaduna. Kashim Shettima, chairman of the forum and governor of Borno state, disclosed this to journalists at the end of the forum’s meeting in Kaduna.
He said the herdsmen usually came in from Senegal and Mali. To resolve the issue, the NGF announced that it will embark on registration of all herdsmen in the country.
