CHELSEA 2 – 1 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR [PREMIER LEAGUE] HIGHLIGHTS 2019/20

Chelsea secure a vital 2-1 win over Tottenham this afternoon to take them four points clear of their rivals in fourth place in the Premier League table.

Olivier Giroud put the Blues ahead in the first half with a fine strike on the half-volley. Marcos Alonso doubled their advantage with a crisp finish early in the second period.

Controversy reigned as Giovani Lo Celso survived a reckless challenge on Cesar Azpilicueta even with the use of VAR. An own goal from Antonio Rudiger made it a tense finish at Stamford Bridge, but the Blues held out to end their poor run of form on home soil.
